Steve Cauthen
Steve Cauthen is an American jockey who was born on May 1, 1960 in Covington, Kentucky. Today he is one of the biggest names in horse racing. Cauthen won the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey and the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Jockey in the United States. He was also selected as Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated, as well as being named as ABC's Wide World of Sports Athlete of the Year. In 1978 he became the youngest jockey to ever win the U. S. Triple Crown, riding Affirmed.

Jerry Bailey is one of this country's best big-race riders. He is a retired American Hall of Fame jockey. He has won four Breeders' Cup Classics during a five-year period from 1991-'95. He also has four Triple Crown race wins to his credit. In 1997, he was awarded his third consecutive Eclipse Award as North America's outstanding reinsman. He was the only jockey who has been honored with such a title. He added a fourth Eclipse Award for the 1999 season.

In 1993, she became the first female jockey to win a Triple Crown race when she captured the Belmont Stakes on her mount Colonial Affair. LeRoy Jolley is an United States Hall of Fame Thoroughbred horse trainer. He is the son of horse trainer Moody Jolley. LeRoy Jolley had an early start, and even received a New York State trainer's license at age 19.
Jolley also trained two Kentucky Derby winners, first Foolish Pleasure in 1975 then Genuine Risk in 1980. In 1987, LeRoy Jolley was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
